In 1905, under the leadership of Henry Dunker, the TRELLEBORG company quickly became the leading rubber manufacturing company in Scandinavia, producing bicycle and car tires and industrial rubber products as its main products. During the First World War, Trellerborg strengthens the business and focuses its products on meeting the needs of all Swedish defense forces. The company developed further and continued to produce during the Second World War and steadily increased its sales share. In 1950, Trellerborg launched the world's first winter tire and Europe's first tubeless tire. In 1962, Henry Dunker died at the age of 92, leaving his fortune to a series of foundations and foundations that today control most of the voting rights in the company. In 1970, the company increased production and sales of industrial rubber products.

Trelleborg celebrates its centenary in 2005. During these years, besides producing quality products, it has strengthened its commercial relations with the leading countries of the world.

It then acquired the American company Reeves Brothers and became a global leader in polymer coated fabrics used in applications such as aerospace. CRP Group also acquires offshore oil and gas exploitation. In 2016, Trellerborg, which has acquired many companies, completed the acquisition of CGS Holding, a company with a leading position in the field of agricultural, industrial and specialty companies, as well as leading positions in the field of engineered polymer solutions. 

Modern society could not function without polymer materials. It is for this reason that Trelleborg, which started and successfully continued its activities, has been a pioneer in polymer engineering and materials technology in its chosen segments for more than a century. In 2015, Trelleborg celebrates its 115th anniversary, knowing that the company has become a world leader in the field of polymer solutions.
